Board of Directors
Founder & President: Dan Shannon
As the originator of Operation Homelink, Dan is responsible for
leading, with the other Board members, the development of the organization's
mission and strategy. He is also charged with leading the overall
management and execution of our goal to get a computer to the family
of every qualified service member that desires one. A veteran
in Chicago office leasing, Dan recently left his position as Director
of Marketing and Leasing with InSite Real Estate, a developer, owner
and manager of office, industrial and retail properties located in 40
states. Dan resigned from his position in order to head Operation
Homelink and to start Aspire Properties, his own commercial management
and leasing firm serving property owners in the Chicago area.

Secretary & Treasurer: John Salmon
John oversees financial matters, 501(c)(3) compliance, distribution
and logistics for Operation Homelink. In addition, John
is a Chartered Accountant with six years of experience at Price Waterhouse,
seven years of progressive responsibilities as a Controller, Treasurer
and Chief Financial Officer and ten years as a successful entrepreneur
in the distribution business. John holds a Bachelor of Business
Administration from York University in Toronto, and actively volunteers
in his community -- coaching soccer and leading event planning for his
church's Missionopoly.
Technology & Business Process: Chris Boudreaux
Chris advises Operation Homelink on matters of technology and business
process design. As a former Change Manager within Bank of America, Chris
now consults to Fortune 500 companies in the financial services and
high-tech industries on technology and business strategy. As a former
U.S. Naval Officer with experience in the Aviation and Surface Warfare
communities, Chris served on the Boards of the Young Affiliates of the
Mint Museum of Art and Community Link, where he managed strategic planning.
Also during that time, Chris completed the United Way's Leading from
the Front community leadership school. Chris earned an MBA and MS in
Computer Science at the University of Chicago, a Master of Aeronautical
Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and BS in Management
at Tulane University.
Communications: Paula Dunn
Paula Dunn serves as the communications advisor for Operation Homelink™.
She is currently the Director of Public Relations for Dolby Laboratories
where she leads the company’s global PR strategy. Paula holds
a BA from the University of Michigan and a MA from the University of
Oklahoma; both in Communications. Paula started her career as an active
duty Naval Officer where she served a tour at the Pentagon as a spokesperson
for the U.S. Navy. Paula still remains active in the Naval Reserves
and currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Legal: Michael Kalachman
Michael provides counseling on a wide range of technology-related
legal matters including the donation of computers to Operation Homelink,
the donation of computers by Operation Homelink, software licensing
and Internet-related issues. In addition, Michael coordinates legal
advice on other corporate and intellectual property matters from various
specialists at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP. He earned a BS in Chemical
Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Following
an eight year career as an officer and aviator in the United States
Navy, Michael attended Northwestern University School of Law and has
served as an associate with Latham & Watkins and Mayer, Brown, Rowe
& Maw LLP in Chicago, Illinois. Currently, Michael is a corporate
counsel in Hewlett-Packard’s Managed Services division and a Lieutenant
Commander in the Naval Reserves.
